To add objects to Rational ClearCase using
PowerBuilder
To place PowerBuilder objects, targets, or workspaces
under Rational® ClearCase® source
control when using PowerBuilder:
In PowerBuilder, perform one of the following actions:
In the Workspace tab of the System
Tree window or in the Library painter, select Add to Source Control from
the context menu for a PowerBuilder object, or target that is not currently
under ClearCase source
control. PowerBuilder objects and targets that are not under Rational ClearCase source
control are marked by a green plus sign.
In the Library painter, select a PowerBuilder object or
target that is not currently under ClearCase source
control and click Entry > Source
Control > Add to Source Control.
In the Add to Source Control window, select the PowerBuilder
object or target that you want to place under Rational ClearCase control
in the Files field; type any remarks in the Comment field.
When you are finished, click OK.
The
results of the operation display in the PowerBuilder Output window.
Tip: Error messages may be posted saying that a .pbg file
is an unknown object type. You may ignore these messages and click OK.
To eliminate these messages when you add objects to Rational ClearCase,
add .pbg to the Rational ClearCase type
manager as a text file.
