To create activities from Rational ClearCase windows (Rational ClearQuest enabled)

About this task

To create activities from Rational® ClearCase® windows while Rational ClearQuest® is enabled:

Procedure

  1. In the Check Out, Check In, or Add to Source Control windows (which opens as part of the corresponding operation), click New.
  2. From the New menu, select a record type. (All record types on the New menu are enabled for UCM.)
  3. In the Submit window, complete the required fields, which are highlighted in red.
  4. To create a record and assign the activity to yourself, click OK.
  5. To add this activity to your stream and set your view to the activity, select it in the Check Out, Check In, or Add to Source Control window and click OK.
