Selecting objects to examine (Windows)

About this task

You can select any object that is part of a VOB and display its history.

Note: If you want to search a VOB in a snapshot view context, the VOB that contains an object does not have to be loaded to be searched.

In the window Select ClearCase objects to display history for, click the tab that corresponds to the object that you want to examine:

Object	Description
Elements	For files and directories
Hyperlinks	For instances of hyperlink objects
Types	For attribute, branch, element, hyperlink, label, and trigger types
Storage Pools	For cleartext, derived object, and source pools
VOB replicas	For an instance of a VOB (Rational® ClearCase MultiSite®)
VOB	For a VOB itself or any file-system objects, type objects, and storage pools in a VOB
