Filtering the display of event records (UNIX system and Linux)

About this task

You can restrict the display of event records in the event log, specify values for the branch and user, and include or exclude checkout events and minor events.

Procedure

Click Edit > Filter Events.
Do any of the following:
- To include minor events, in Options, set Include Minor Events.
- To include checkout event records, in Options, set Include Checkout Events.
- To restrict the display of event records to those associated with a login name, under Filter by user, in User login, enter a user login name or select a user name from the list.
- To restrict the display of event records to those associated with a branch type other than main (the default), under Filter by branch, in Branch name, enter the name of a branch type or use the drop-down list to select the name of the branch type.
Click OK.

Results

The display refreshes with the filtered event records. You can also indicate how to treat the filter settings.
