Metadata is information that is kept about elements that are under source control. This metadata is sometimes referred to as Rational® ClearCase® information.
If you are using a Windows system, to see metadata for a nonloaded version, click the version in the Details pane of the Rational ClearCase Explorer and select commands from the Tools menu.
