To compare a version with its predecessor

Procedure

  1. In the Version Tree Browser window, display the version tree of the element.
  2. Select a version in the Version Tree Browser display.
  3. Click Version > Diff > Selected vs. predecessor. ) (The commands on the Diff menu are unavailable until you select the version you want to compare.

Results

The Diff Merge window xcompare opens and displays the comparison of the two files.
