You can use the Expression Builder wizard to edit complex expressions
or subqueries. An expression specifies a value.
You can start the Expression Builder wizard from anywhere in the
SQL builder where you can use an expression in a statement (for example, the Column column
in the Design pane of a SELECT statement).
Prerequisite: The
SQL statement must be open in the SQL builder.
- In the Design pane of the SQL builder, double-click the cell in
which you want to edit the expression.
- Click Edit Expression in the list. The Expression Builder wizard opens to the page for defining that type
of expression .
- Specify information for the fields on the page, and then click Finish.
