Creating a project for XML schema development

Before you create database objects, you must create a data development project in which to work with them.

To create a project for XML schema development:

  1. From the menu bar, select File > New > Data Development Project. The New Data Development Project wizard opens.
  2. In the Project Name field, type XMLSchema, and click Next.
  3. Under Use an existing connection, select SAMPLEXMLtutorial and browse its properties to confirm that this is the correct database.
  4. Click Finish.
The new project is displayed in the Data Project Explorer view.
