The sample data design project that is included in the workbench contains project files, a domain model, and a logical model.
There are two ways to import the project files. If you are viewing this tutorial in the Tutorials Gallery, follow the steps under Importing the resources from the Tutorials Gallery. If you are viewing this tutorial in another form (for example, if you printed the tutorial), follow the steps under Importing the resources manually. You need to use only one of these methods.
A wizard opens.
The project is imported to your workspace and is displayed in the Data Project Explorer.
<RDA>\rda_prod\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.datatools.sample.datamodels_xxx\install\TopDownScenario.zip
Where <RDA> is the directory in which you installed this product.
You should see the following files:
You should now see a project named Design in the Data Project Explorer. Expand the Design project folder and the Data Models folder to see the sample data models that are included in the project.

If you were working in a team environment, you could now share the design project by using the source code management functionality in the workbench.
Now you are ready to begin Exercise 3: Viewing the domain model reference in the Design project properties.
