Task: Develop Systems State Transition Descriptions (SV-10b)
The SV-10b is used to capture the state behavior of the system or organization in response to particular events. It is a more detailed reflection of the behavior of the systems that is capture in an SV-4 and is an aggregate of the messaging behavior captured in the SV-10c.
Purpose
To define the behavior of a particular performer or organization in a system as it responds to stimuli. The actions
carried out as a result of the events that the statemachines receive are tied to the activities in the Sv-4. In many tools
the statemachines can be executed to give the architects a very good understanding of the behavior of the architecture at
the operational level.
