The OV-1 Graphic is a impact-oriented abstraction based on several architectural products that capture the essential aspects of the operational environment.

Purpose

The OV-1 is intended to provide a graphic abstraction of the operational concepts of the elements supporting the mission of the enterprise.

Although the original implementation of the OV-1 was intended to be graphical it is possible create a model based version using DoDAF 2.0 implementations such as UPDM in its DoDAF flavor.
