Task: Develop Operational State Transition Description (OV-6b)
The OV-6b is used to capture the state behavior of the performer or organization in response to particular events. It is a more detailed reflection of the behavior of the systems that is capture in an OV-5b and is an aggregate of the messaging behavior captured in the OV-6c.
To define the behavior of a particular performer or organization in a system as it responds to stimuli. The actions
carried out as a result of the events that the statemachines receive are tied to the activities in the OV 5a/b. In many
tools the statemachines can be executed to give the architects a very good understanding of the behavior of the
architecture at the operational level.
