      Steps
Self-assert that Updates to the Design and Library Meet the Change Request(s)
The Analog Designer signs off their updates, Marking the CR as work completed.
Annotate the Design, Key Cells and Cell Hierarchy with Version and Release Identifiers
Add tags and labels to the design and its cells using prevailing convention and agreed tag(s) to identify the new cells and their hierarchy as relevant.
      Release Design into Library
Commit updated design cell(s) into the library by checking-in to design configuration management.
Annotate Library with Version and Release Identifier (optional)
Add library attributes using prevailing convention and agreed tag(s) to identify the library release. Annotation may be required to reflect the design release, for instance if a library is solely used in that design.
Update the Change Request with Release Information
Add the configuration identifiers to the CR.
Mark the Change Request as Ready for Approval
Analog Designer completes their work with notes updated to CR, either through state to ready for review or through Work Item approvals.
      Notify Change Request Approvers
The CR approvers are alerted that the CR is ready to close.
      Approve Change Request
The Design Authority satisfies themselves that the updates meet the CR(s) and that the requisite or sufficient evidence is provided. This step may require multiple design authorities.
      Propose Concessions (optional)
The Design Authority proposes a concession where there is a gap with respect to meeting the intent of the CR. This concession needs to be accepted by additional approvers.
