Similar to the RMC-RTC integration, we provide a means to surface the relevant process guidance directly within DOORS. Each IBM Rational solution includes a DOORS utility that provides following main capabilities:

• Create DOORS Project, including all required modules, attributes, views, traceability schema to support the process
• Surface contextualized process guidance directly within each DOORS module

Main steps:

1. Install the DOORS utility if not already installed (see Configuring DOORS to support the Medical Devices practices).
2. Configure the links into the process guidance (see Initializing a Systems Engineering Project in DOORS)
3. Create a Systems Engineering project (see Initializing a Systems Engineering Project in DOORS)
4. Review the menu items and contextual links pointing to the process guidance (see Accessing Process Guidance in DOORS).
