How to provide feedback

Your feedback is critical to the success of the Medical Devices Solution. To make it easy for us to collaborate during the beta and beyond we have created a Rational Medical Devices DPP Community. Figure 1 shows the welcome page of the community.

This collaborative workspace provides a number of easy to use capabilities for us to leverage such as:

• Discussion Forum - This will be the primary means for Q&A and submitting enhancement requests or defect reports.
• Feeds - Stay current with up-to-minute information
• Bookmarks - Share web resources with the community
• Blog - Brainstorm or share ideas
• Activities - A way to track community goals, create to-dos and share resources
• Files - Share information and collaborate with others on documents
• Wikis - A way to view and post useful information such as training material, guidance, etc.

Join the Community

You should have received an email with instructions and credentials to join the community. If you haven't please send an email to Brian Jones (jonesba@us.ibm.com) and he will ensure you get access.

Using the Community

We may not use all of the community capabilities, but the Discussion Forum is a key feature we will use to capture feedback from your evaluation.

If you have a question as you are working through the evaluation scenarios, post it to the Forum. We will answer it as quickly as possible and others can benefit from the thread.

You should also "Start a topic" for any enhancement requests or defects you note during the evaluation. We will then collaborate on the topic and raise a formal change request against the solution as appropriate.

Here are some guidelines for submitting questions, comments, enhancement requests or defect reports:

• When submitting feedback on the process guidance please identify the subject webpage using the name of the method element that appears at the top of the page (for example, Task: Develop Technical Vision, or Guideline: Requirements Gathering Techniques).
• Prior to starting a topic, please scan the list of topics in the community to see if someone already raised the same issue
• Set notifications on your favorite topics to receive email notifications when the topic is updated
