1. First, Susan can go navigate directly to RTC from the newly created link. Right-Click on the Implemented
by link on the requirement object. Mouse-over the IR Task pop up menu. In this example, it is
IR Task 39. Note the RTC delegated User Interface appears with a summary of information about the task.
2. Second, if Susan wants to see information about this requirement and the Implementation Request all in DOORS she can
do so. Select the IR Attrs View from the view drop down list.
3. Third, Susan can manually join this Implementation Request to the already accepted Requirement Change Request.
Earlier in the scenario, we Pete created a number of Work Items from a pre-created template. Their linked relationships
were also defined by the template. RTC is flexible enough to allow you to also link Work Items that may already exits.
Log in to RTC as susan/susan. Navigate to the Implementation Request Work Item, and then select the
Links tab. Click on the Add: Related link and then, for this example, select
Affects Requirement.
If you are prompted for credentials, log in as susan/susan. Select Link to existing DOORS Repository.
Select the User Needs module, click Open.
Select requirement #UN45, click Select, click OK.
The new link appears with the Work Item. This is the end of the evaluation scenario.
Note: In future scenarios, Susan will open this task item and set it to a Working state within the RTC Eclipse client.
Once in the working state, Susan can change source code in RTC and/or UML models in Rhapsody. These code/model changes
will automatically be associated with the task work item and linked back to requirements.
