It builds a near real-time index of the linked lifecycle data from source tools including Rational DOORS®, Rational Rhapsody® with Design Manager, Rational Team Concert™ and Rational Quality Manager.

IBM® Rational® Engineering Lifecycle Manager delivers cross-domain views, impact analysis and the ability to group the data into product & system structures. It employs an open architecture so that additional data sources, such as electronic engineering data, can be integrated by partners.
