Main Description

Use case scenarios may be created from a black-box activity diagram by means of the SE-Toolkit feature Create New Scenario from Activity Diagram.

  1. In the Tools Menu select Tools > SE-Toolkit\Modeling Toolbox.
  2. In the Modeling Toolbox dialog box select Generate SDs.
  3. Hold down Ctrl and select in the black-box activity diagram a sequence of actions. Alternatively, select a single action as the source. The tool will auto-create the sequence until it reaches a condition connector. The user is then given the choice of which path to take.
  4. In the Modeling Toolbox dialog box click Set Source.
  5. In the browser select a system block (in this example Uc_Uc1ControlEntry).
  6. In the Modeling Toolbox dialog box click Set Destination.
  7. In the Modeling Toolbox dialog box click Create New Scenario from Activity Diagram.
