Task: Create QA Plan

This task creates the project-specific Software Quality Assurance Plan (SQAP).

Purpose

The purpose of the task is to create a detailed plan for how the organization will ensure software quality, specifically adherence to project, business, and industry-relevant standards. This includes the establishments of goals, processes, and responsibilities to implement and govern the quality assurance functions for the project.

Main Description

The SQAP identifies the procedures, practices, standards, and governance for the fulfillment of the software quality assurance function. This document specifies:

the appropriate set of relevant project, business, and industry standards
guidelines and/or checklists for work products to be reviewed
the method for conducting reviews
the procedures for performing QA audits
how to assess compliance to project processes and practice standards
the tools used in the performance of the QA functions
create an evidence trail of the QA activities and their outputs and outcomes
