Product Variant

If a need for a unique variant names does exist, the recommended approach is to append a product name with a particular variation.

Example: "AMR.S Mobile US 2014” where Mobile, US, and 2014 are all variations on the AMR system.

Note that in the example above, ‘.S’ appends the name of the system to indicate that it is a top-level system, distinguishing it from subsystems/components.
