Lesson 2: Generating and displaying the report

This exercise teaches you how to generate and display a PDF report for the selected model.

To generate the report, follow these steps:
  1. Make sure that you are in the Modeling perspective.
  2. In the Project Explorer view, under SimpleMod/Models, right-click SimpleUMLModel, and then click Generate Report.
  3. In the Reporting window, click Classic UML Metric Report as the report design.
  4. In the Enter report output location field, browse to an existing folder, enter SimpleUMLModel_Metrics.pdf as the file name, and then click Open.
  5. Click OK to generate the report. The report opens in Adobe Reader.
You can now review the metrics for the model.
