Lesson 1: Import the Rose sample models

In this lesson, you will import the first of two Rose models from the Samples Gallery for use in this tutorial.

To import the first sample Rose model (RoseImportSample.mdl):

  1. Within the Samples Gallery, expand Technology samples, expand Migration and then click Rational Rose model.
  2. On the Rose model import sample page, click Setup instructions.
  3. Follow the setup instructions to create the sample project and import the first Rose model (RoseImportSample.mdl) into your workspace.
    Note: On the Map Property Sets page of the Rose Model Import wizard, make sure you select the Import property sets as UML profiles option; by default, it is not selected.
