Setting JET compiler preferences
The compiler options that you specify apply to all JET projects in the workspace that do not have specific values configured in the properties of the project.
Setting JET editing preferences
You can set preferences for JET templates, such as color preferences for highlighting JET language elements when you edit JET templates, and managing common code templates. These preferences are applied to all JET transformation projects in the current workspace.
Creating JET transformations
When you create a JET project, you create a JET transformation.
Specifying JET transformation configuration options
When you create a JET transformation project, default values are provided for the transformation entry point template, template loader classes, and other JET transformation properties. To specify different values for these properties, you must modify the extension element details in the plugin.xml file.
Managing JET transformation properties
You can view and edit JET transformation properties. To edit transformation properties, you must open the plugin.xml file in the JET transformation project.
Specifying tag library information for JET transformations
You can add or remove the tag libraries that are available to JET transformations. Using tags that are part of other libraries enables you to customize the actions of JET transformations. By default, JET transformations include references to all JET provided tag libraries.
Defining exemplar scope for JET transformations
Exemplars are examples of what you want a JET transformation to generate. An exemplar consists of one or more projects, and the files and folders that they contain. These projects, files, and folders are also called exemplar projects, exemplar files, and exemplar folders; collectively, they are called exemplar artifacts. You can define the exemplar scope by adding or deleting exemplar projects in a JET transformation project.
