You
can import transformation configurations from any version 6 release of
Rational® modeling products into
your workspace. You can import transformation configurations from an Eclipse
workspace or from a file that contains previously exported transformation
configurations. Files that contain exported transformation configurations
have .tcexp as a file name extension.
To import a transformation configuration:
- Click .
- In the Import window, expand the Transformations folder
and click 6.X Transformation Configuration.
- Click Next.
- In the Import Transformation Configuration window,
from the Import from list, complete one of the following
steps:
- To import a transformation configuration from a workspace, select Workspace and
specify the workspace.
- To import a transformation configuration from a file that contains
one or more exported transformation configurations, select Exported
transformation configuration file and specify a .tcexp file.
Note: All transformation configurations in a .tcexp file are imported.
You cannot select individual transformation configurations from a .tcexp file.
The Transformation configurations to import pane displays the
transformation configurations to import.
- Specify a destination project or folder to store the transformation
configuration.
- Click Finish.
For each of the transformation configurations that the Transformation
configurations to import pane displays, a new transformation configuration
is created in the destination project or folder. The name of the transformation
configuration does not change when you import it.
