Setting preferences for generating visual representations of UML elements

You can specify whether the transformation displays a warning message before replacing source UML model elements with pointers to the generated elements.

To set visualization preferences for the transformation:

  1. Click Window > Preferences.
  2. In the Preferences window, expand Modeling and click UML Visualization.
  3. Select the Show warning when replacing UML elements check box.
    Note: If you select this check box, you must also select the Replace UML elements option on the Common page of the transformation configuration editor or wizard.
  4. Click Apply and click OK.
The next time that you run the transformation, it displays a warning message before replacing UML elements with pointers to the generated elements.
