Modifying SQL scrapbook pages

You can use the SQL editor to modify the SQL statements in existing SQL scrapbook pages.

About this task

To modify an SQL scrapbook page in the SQL editor:

In the perspective that you are using, expand the project that contains the SQL scrapbook page.
Right-click the SQL scrapbook page (.sqlpage) file, and then click Open With > SQL Editor on the pop-up menu. The SQL scrapbook page opens in the SQL editor.
Optional: If you want to use content assist and a No connection message is displayed in the status bar, connect to a database.
Edit the SQL statements in the SQL scrapbook page.
Optional: Run the SQL statements in the SQL scrapbook page. If you run an INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE statement, you can modify the database.
Save the SQL scrapbook page.
