To show the messages that pass between the lifelines in a communication
diagram, you must begin by creating a message pathway.
You must have a communication diagram open that contains at least
two lifelines.
To create a message pathway:
- In the Palette, click Message Pathway.
- In the diagram editor, click one lifeline and drag the cursor to
the second lifeline.
The two lifelines are connected by a solid line to which you can now
add messages.
