Select Services for Work Plans

You use the Services tab on the Plans tab to view services and add line types of service or standard service (STD SERVICE) to the work plan. Standard services are services such as grounds maintenance, janitorial services, or freight, for which your company might maintain a vendor catalog.

If the activity was created with a job plan, the services and all related information are copied from the job plan to the Services tab.

If you apply a price schedule to the activity, service prices are estimated. View the price information in the Line Price field of each service that you add. View all costs and prices in the View Costs and Prices window.

You can select services for a work plan in the following ways:

• Select multiple services

• Select individual services

To select one or more services:

1. Display the record for which you want to select standard services.

2. On the Plans tab, click the Services tab.

3. Click Select Standard Services.

4. Select the Select Row check box next to the services you want to add.

5. Click OK. Each service that you select creates a row in the Services table window.

6. Optional: Edit the fields you want to change.

7. Click Save Activity .

To select individual services:

1. Display the activity for which you want to select services.

2. On the Services tab, click New Row.

3. In the Line Type field, select either Service or Standard Service.

4. In the Task ID field, specify a value. If this task has a value for hours, the value is copied to the Hours field.  

5. Optional: Edit the fields you want to change.

6. Click Save Activity .
