Add Count-based Pricing Rules for IT Assets

Add a pricing rule based on counts of IT assets that you manage for one or many locations. Assets for which you bill by count share the same classification. For more information about classifications, see the Classifications (SP) help.

To add a count-based pricing rule:

1. In the Customer Agreements (SP) application, display the record for which you want to create this rule.

2. Click the following tabs and subtabs: Price Schedules > Pricing Rules > IT Asset > Asset Management.

3. Click New Row.

4. In the Classification field, click Detail Menu and select an option to retrieve the classification for these assets.

5. To add a billing rule for a count of this asset at one location:

1. Optionally, enter a fixed price in the Fixed Price field, and specify its type in the Type field.

2. In the Unit Price field, enter a price.

6. To add a billing rule for a count of this asset in all locations:

1. In the Range From and Range To fields, enter the ranges for the upper and lower total asset counts to which this price applies.

2. Optionally, enter a fixed price in the Fixed Price field, and specify its type in the Type field.

3. In the Unit Price field, enter a price.

7. Click Save Agreement
