Add Performance-based Pricing Rules for IT Assets

Add a pricing rule based on the performance of IT assets that you manage at one or many locations. Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to manage performance of IT assets. Assets for which you bill by performance share the same KPI. For more information about KPIs, see the KPI Manager help..

To create a performance-based pricing rule:

  1. In the Customer Agreements (SP) application, display the record for which you want to create this rule.

  2. Click the following tabs and subtabs: Price Schedules > Pricing Rules > IT Asset > Asset Performance.

  3. Click New Row.

  4. In the KPI Name field, click Select Value and select a KPI.

  5. In the Price at Target field, enter the price per asset when performance is in the target range for this KPI.

  6. In the Price at Caution field, enter the price per asset when performance is in the caution range for this KPI.

  7. In the Price at Alert field, enter the price per asset when performance is in the alert range for this KPI.

  1. Click Save Agreement
