Add Usage-based Pricing Rules for IT Assets

Add a pricing rule based on usage of IT assets that you manage for one or many locations. Use a meter to measure asset usage. For more information about meters, see the Meters help.

To add a meter-based pricing rule:

1. In the Customer Agreements (SP) application, display the record for which you want to create this rule.

2. Click the following tabs and subtabs: Price Schedules > Pricing Rules > IT Asset > Asset Usage.

3. Click New Row.

4. In the Meter Name field, click Select Value and select a meter for these assets.

5. In the Range From and Range To fields, enter the ranges for the upper and lower meter readings to which this price applies.

6. Optionally, enter a fixed price in the Fixed Price field, and specify its type in the Type field.

7. In the Unit Price field, enter a price.

8. Click Save Agreement
