Add Labor Pricing Rules

You add labor pricing rules to a customer agreement price schedule in the Customer Agreements (SP) application. These pricing rules are used to create billing transactions for labor reported on a ticket or work order to which the price schedule is applied. Pricing for all labor is done by the craft associated with the labor.

Note: If you do not want any charges for labor copied to billing transactions, select the No Charge? check box. You are prevented you from entering data in any of the other pricing rules fields.

To add labor pricing rules to a price schedule:

  1. In the Customer Agreements (SP) application, display the record with the price schedule to which you want to add labor pricing rules.

  2. Click the Price Schedules tab, then click the Pricing rules subtab.

  3. In the Price Schedules table, select a price schedule to which to apply the pricing rules.

  4. Click the Labor subtab.

  5. In the Default Internal Markup Percentage field, enter a percentage by which to mark up internal craft costs.

  6. In the Default External Markup Percentage field, enter a percentage by which to mark up external craft costs.

  7. Optionally, in the Craft Mark Ups table, click New Row and take the following steps:

  1. In the Craft field, enter a value or click Detail Menu to select an option and retrieve a value.

  2. Select either the Internal? or External? check box to indicate whether the craft is internal or external to you. If the craft is external, enter a vendor in the Vendor field.

  3. In the Markup Percentage field, enter a percentage by which to mark up reported costs for this craft.

  1. Optionally, in the Craft Prices table, click New Row and take the following steps:

  1. In the Craft field, enter a value or click Detail Menu to select an option and retrieve a value.

  2. Optionally, in the Skill Level field, select a skill level for this craft.

  3. Select either the Internal? or External? check box to indicate whether the craft is internal or external to you. If the craft is external, enter a vendor in the Vendor field.

  4. In the Price field, enter a price to charge for this craft or combination of craft and skill.

  1. Click Save Agreement .
