Add Services Pricing Rules

You add services pricing rules to a customer agreement price schedule in the Customer Agreements (SP) application. These pricing rules are used to create billing transactions for services reported on a ticket, work order, or sales order to which the price schedule is applied.

Note: If you do not want any charges for services copied to billing transactions, select the No Charge? check box. You are prevented from entering data in any of the other pricing rules fields.

To add services pricing rules to a price schedule:

  1. In the Customer Agreements (SP) application, display the record with the price schedule to which you want to add services pricing rules.

  2. Click the Price Schedules tab, and then click the Pricing rules subtab.

  3. In the Price Schedules table, select a price schedule to which to apply the pricing rules.

  4. Click the Services subtab.

  5. In the Default Calculation Percentage field, enter a default percentage by which to either mark up (positive value) or discount (negative value) service costs.

  6. Select either Markup from Item Cost or Discount from List Price to indicate whether the percentage value for services is applied as a markup or discount.

  7. To add a pricing rule for a service group, follow these steps:

  1. in the Service Mark Ups table, click New Row.

  2. In the Service Group field, enter a value or click Detail Menu to select an option and retrieve a value.

  3. In the Markup Percentage field, enter a percentage by which to mark up reported costs for this service group.

  1. To add a pricing rule for a service in a service group, follow these steps:

  1. In the Service Mark Ups table, click New Row.

  2. In the Service Group field, enter a value.

  3. In the Service field, enter a value or click Select Value and select a service.

  4. In the Markup Percentage field, enter a percentage by which to mark up reported costs for this service in this service group.

  1. Click Save Agreement .
