Create a Price Schedule

Create a price schedule for a customer agreement in the Customer Agreements (SP) application. You can create multiple price schedules for an agreement. All price schedules for an agreement share the status of the agreement.

To create a price schedule:

  1. Display the agreement for which you want to create a price schedule and click the Price Schedules tab.

  2. In the Price Schedules table, click New Row. If you can edit the Schedule field, insert or edit the value. Enter a description in the Description field.

  3. In the Applies To field, click Select Value and select the type of record to which this schedule applies.

  4. In the Ranking field, enter a ranking value. This value is used to choose a schedule if more than one schedule applies to a record. A lower number is a more highly ranked price schedule.

  5. In the PO Req? field, select the check box if you should obtain a purchase order from the customer before work is approved. This rule is not enforced, but you can have a workflow process make this information visible in various ways.

  6. In the Fixed Amount field, enter a value if you bill fixed amounts in each billing cycle. A fixed amount can be a management fee. A fixed amount can also add a charge to maintenance activities. For example, you can add a trip charge to a work order at a certain location. You also can add a trip charge to a work order that required dispatching workers after normal work hours.

  7. In the Type field, select a value for the type of fixed amount.

  8. Click the Price Schedule subtab. If desired, specify a calendar and shift to which the price schedule is applicable.

  9. Optionally, select the Allow Price Quotes? check box if you want the quoted price on a work order to supercede any billing rates.

  10. In the Notify Customer if Price Exceeds field, enter a value to see a reminder to contact the customer if the price exceeds this amount. The reminder appears on the ticket or work order.

  11. Enter detailed conditions and pricing rules on the other subtabs of this tab. For information on entering detailed information, see the links below.

  12. Click Save Agreement .

  13. Change the status if desired. After you approve the record, you can modify it by creating a revision to it.
