Customer Agreements (SP) ApplicationUse the Customer Agreements (SP) application to create and maintain customer agreements between you and your customers. Customer agreements contain the following information:
services you provide
locations and assets for which you provide services
billing terms, billing periods, and billing rates of the agreement
conditions under which you provide services
effective dates of the agreement
price schedules for services
configuration items
Each customer agreement contains one or more price schedules for services you provide. Price schedules define your agreed pricing rules and the conditions under which you apply those rules. Each price schedule can contain different rules for calculating prices for services. For example, you can create a price schedule that adds a markup percentage to reported labor costs. You can specify different markups for internal and external labor, and different markups for different vendors. You also can specify various IT asset management fees that you include in every billing cycle. for example, you can create a price schedule that calculates a price based on the number of assets that you manage, or calculates a price based on the usage or performance of an asset.
You can revise a customer agreement when you need to change an approved agreement. For example, to extend the end date of an agreement, create a revision to the agreement. When you revise a customer agreement, the revision includes all associated price schedules. You can modify the price schedules.
