Materials with an Asset You can add hazardous materials to asset and location records so that when you build safety plans in the Safety Plan application and then use those safety plans in work orders, the hazardous materials associated with specific assets and locations will be included on the work order.
Before you can add hazardous materials to an asset record, the hazard must have already been defined as hazardous material-enabled in the Safety Hazards application.
Display the asset record with which you want to associate hazardous material.
On the Safety tab, click the Hazardous Materials subtab.
Under the Hazardous Materials table, click New Row.
In the Hazard field, click Detail Menu
and select an option.
Note: On the Select Hazard page, the system displays only hazardous material-enabled hazards.
Click Save Location
. The hazard is displayed on the Hazards and Precautions
subtab.
