Delete an Asset

You use the Delete Asset action to delete an asset record from the database. If the asset you want to delete is referenced on an active job plan, location, PM, purchase order, route, safety plan, or work order, you cannot delete the asset record.

To delete an asset:

1. On the List tab, select the asset you want to delete, or display the asset as the current record.

2. From the Select Action menu, select Delete Asset. A message is displayed to confirm that you want to delete the asset.

3. To delete the asset, click Yes. To cancel the deletion and close the message box, click No.
