Manage Asset Collections

You use the Manage Asset Collections dialog box to add an asset to one or more collections. In the Manage Asset Collections dialog box, you also can view a list of all the collections that the select asset belongs to. If you want to remove the asset from a collection, delete the collection in this dialog box. Deleting the collection only removes the asset from the collection; the collection is still in the database.

To manage asset collections:

1. Display the asset record whose collections you want to manage.

2. From the Select Action menu, select Manage Asset Collections.

3. To associate a collection with the asset, perform one of the following actions:

4. Click New Row and in the Collection field enter a collection, or click Detail Menu  to select an option and retrieve a value.

5. Click Select Collections and select one or multiple collections.

4. To delete a collection, click Mark Row for Delete .

5. When you are finished adding and deleting collections, click OK.
