Remove a classification from an asset

When a classification no longer applies to an asset, you can remove the classification. When you remove a classification from an asset, all attributes are also removed. Remove the classification on the Specification tab of the Assets (SP) application.

To remove a classification from an asset:

1. From the List tab of the Assets (SP) application, select the asset that has a classification that you want to remove.

2. On the Specification tab, next to the Classification field, click Detail Menu and select Clear Classification .

3. Click Save .
