Zero Asset Costs

You use the Zero Asset Costs action from the Select Action menu  to "zero out" the year to date or total costs for the asset. Typically you would use this action once per year.

To zero asset costs:

1. Display the record whose costs you want to reset.

2. From the Select Action menu, select Zero Asset Costs.

3. In the Zero Asset Costs dialog box, select either of the following options:

4. To zero all costs to date within the current year, select the Zero Year to Date Costs? check box.

5. To zero all costs for the asset, select the Zero Total Costs? check box.

4. Click OK to apply your selection and return to the record; to close the dialog box without zeroing costs, click Cancel.
