Create a Bill BatchYou create a bill batch in the Customer Billing (SP) application. See the topic About the Billing Process for more details about working with bill batches.
On the toolbar, click New Batch . If the Bill Batch field is empty, enter a value.
Enter a description in the Bill Batch Description field. To enter or view additional information, click Long Description .
In the Customer field, enter a value or click Detail Menu to select the customer for whom you are creating the bill batch.
In the Required Review Date field, enter a review date by which a customer must complete the associated review bill. This field is optional. See the Bill Review (SP) help for more information.
In the Agreement field, enter a value or click Detail Menu to select the customer agreement and price schedule applied to the work for this bill.
In the Bill End Date field, accept or modify the end date for this bill cycle. The date in this field is filled based on the rules defined in the customer agreement.
In the Bill Batch Lines table, click Copy WO's, Tickets and SO's. unbilled, closed, completed, or resolved work orders, tickets, and sales orders are copied to the table rows.
Review the batch lines, update as needed, and change the status of any line as needed. To view cost, price, and quote information, click View Details on the line. To view transaction details, select the line and click the Labor, Materials, Services, Tools, or Fees and Charges subtabs.
Change the status of the bill batch to PREBILL. The bill is now available for customers to review in the Bill Review (SP) application.
