Edit a Configuration Item

To edit a configuration item:

1. In the Configuration Items (SP) application, display the configuration item (CI) that you want to edit.

2. Edit fields and add or delete rows in the Specifications table window as needed. Whether you can edit a field sometimes depends on the value in another field. If you change the classification, the attributes reflect the new classification. If the CI is in a protected state, you might not be able to change the value of an attribute.

3. Click Save CI .
