Manage CI Collections

You use the Manage CI Collections dialog box to associate collections with a configuration item (CI). For example, you might have a collection that includes a group of CIs in a data center that you want to associate with the current CI record.

To manage CI collections:

1. In the Configuration Items (SP) application, display the CI for which you want to manage CI collections.

2. From the Select Action menu, select Manage CI Collections. The Manage CI Collections dialog box opens and displays any collections already associated with the CI.

3. To associate a collection with the CI, perform one of the following actions:

• Click New Row and in the Collection field enter a collection, or click Detail Menu to select an option and retrieve a value.

• Click Select Collections and select one or multiple collections.

4. To delete a collection, click Mark Row for Delete .

5. When you are finished adding and deleting collections, click OK.
