View Actual CI Details

If a configuration item (CI) is based on a record in the Actual Configuration Items (SP) application, you can view the detailed information from the Actual Configuration Items (SP) application. To view the detailed information, you use the View Actual CI Details dialog box. You can view the classification, GUID, and last scan date of an actual CI, as well as the attributes associated with the classification.

The dialog box is for viewing only. You cannot edit actual CI data in this dialog box.

To view actual CI details:

1. In the Configuration Items (SP) application, display the CI for which you want to view actual CI details.

2. From the Select Action menu, select View Actual CI Details. The View Actual CI Details dialog box opens.

3.  View information as needed.

4. Click OK.

Note: To view more details, close this dialog box and, from the Actual CI field on the Configuration Item tab, click Detail menu . Select Go To Actual Configuration Items (SP).
