View CI Reconciliation Results

You use the CI Reconciliation Result tab in the CI Reconciliation Results (SP) application to view reconciliation results. The system generates reconciliation results when it executes a reconciliation task to compare a top-level authorized configuration item (CI) with an actual CI.

The system displays the following CI reconciliation results in the CI Reconciliation Results (SP) application:

• Link rule results – link failures that occur when the system executes a reconciliation task but finds no link or finds multiple links between a top-level authorized CI and an actual CI.

• Comparison rule results – data that results from execution of a comparison rule. For more information about the type of comparison rule data displayed, see CI Reconciliation Results (SP) Application.

To view reconciliation results:

• In the CI Reconciliation Results (SP) application, on the List tab, select the CI reconciliation result record that you want to view. The application displays the selected reconciliation result record on the CI Reconciliation Result tab.

If you want to view only link rule failure or comparison rule results, you can use the advanced search feature to select either link results or comparison results. For more information about using advanced search features, see Use More Search Fields.
