Domains

A domain is a means to standardize a list of values for attributes. For example, for an attribute of COLOR, you can have domains of yellow, red, green, blue. For an attribute of HORSE POWER, you can have domains of 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 10, 20, 100. A classification attribute can be tied to an ALN, Numeric, or Table domain. You can validate an attribute against the values in a particular database column by using a Table domain. You define domains in the Domains application of the Configuration module.
