Removing conditions from customer data objects

You can remove a condition that you no longer need from a customer data object in the Customer Objects (SP) application.

You can delete a condition only if it is not referenced by other applications (the value in the Referenced Count field equals zero). For example, if you created a condition that refers to one other application, the reference count value would equal one and you cannot delete the condition.

If you remove a condition from a customer data object, access to the object is no longer restricted by the customer-level data restrictions specified in the condition.

To remove a condition from a customer data object

  1. In the All Customer Objects table window of the Customer Objects (SP) application, select the object from which you want to remove a condition.

  2. In the Restriction Condition table window, click Mark Row for Delete  next to the condition that you want to remove. Tip: To undo the delete before you save the condition, click Mark Row for Delete  again.

  3. Click Save Customer Object .
