About Deleting Customers

You delete a customer record in the Customers (SP) application. You might need security authorization to delete a customer.

Prerequisites

Before you delete a customer, make sure the following conditions are met:

• The customer is not a parent of another customer. This means that the customer is not listed in the Parent field of another customer record.

• The customer is not associated with active records of the following types:

• assets

• customer agreements and price schedules

• customer bills

• locations

• service level agreements (SLAs)

• tickets (service requests, incidents, or problems)

• work orders (including activities, changes, and releases)
