Delete a Synonym Value

In synonym domains, you can delete synonym values, but observe the following conditions:

• You can only delete non-default synonym values.

• If you delete one synonym value for which you have specified an organization or site, you must delete all the synonym values in that domain for which you have specified that organization or site.

• Do not delete synonym values if you have records referencing them.

To delete a synonym value:

1. Open the Domains (SP) application.

2. In the Domains table window, find the domain with the synonym value you want to delete and click Edit Detail to open the SYNONYM Domain dialog box.

3. In the SYNONYM Domain table window, click Mark Row for Delete . You can mark multiple rows.

To cancel a deletion, click Undo Delete .

4. Click OK.
