Communication Devices Subtab

You use the Communication Devices subtab of the Communication tab in the Computers (SP) application to view information about communication devices (often modems) on computers installed in your organization.

The Communication Devices subtab displays a table window with the following information about the communication devices installed on the selected computer:

• device type

• device name

• manufacturer

• make/model

You can select a communication device listed in the table window and expand the row to show the following details for the selected device:

• device name

• device description

• device type

• serial number

• asset tag

• manufacturer

• make/model

• bandwidth

• bandwidth unit

For information about a field, place the cursor in the field and press Alt+F1.
